Our Captain
Efraín Ferrera is our captain and your guide on this sea adventure. Born in Fuerteventura in 1985, he grew up sailing alongside his father Miguel—a professional fishing skipper and ocean enthusiast. From a young age, Efraín explored every corner of the island’s coastline, learning the secrets of the sea and shaping a passion he now shares with every guest.
He trained at the Maritime Fishing School of the Canary Islands, where he earned his certification in 2003. Since then, he has dedicated his life to what he loves most: sailing and showing the beauty of Fuerteventura from the water. He speaks both English and Spanish, and enjoys sharing stories, routes, and local insights with everyone who comes on board.
Our Equipment
The Kleie boat can accommodate up to 4 passengers plus the captain. With a length between perpendiculars of 5 meters and a beam of 1.90 meters, it’s a nimble and safe vessel—perfect for coastal outings.
It’s equipped with a 50 HP Mariner engine, capable of reaching a top speed of 21 knots.
We carry civil liability and accident insurance, fully compliant with current regulations.
For safety and rescue, the boat is equipped with:
- Fixed VHF radio station
- Portable VHF radio
- Inmarsat satellite phone
- Signal flares
- Handheld flares
- Life jackets

Nuestro patrón
Efraín Ferrera es nuestro patrón y será tu guía en esta aventura por el mar. Nacido en Fuerteventura en 1985, creció navegando junto a su padre Miguel, patrón de pesca profesional y amante del océano. Desde niño, recorrió cada rincón de la costa majorera, aprendiendo los secretos del mar y forjando una pasión que hoy comparte con cada visitante.
Se formó en la Escuela Marítimo Pesquera de Canarias, donde obtuvo su titulación en 2003, y desde entonces ha dedicado su vida a lo que más le gusta: navegar y mostrar la belleza de Fuerteventura desde el agua. Habla inglés y español, y disfruta compartiendo historias, rutas y curiosidades con todos los que suben a bordo.
Nuestro equipamiento
La embarcación Kleie tiene capacidad para 4 pasajeros más el patrón. Con una eslora de 5 metros entre perpendiculares y una manga de 1,90 metros, es una embarcación ágil y segura, ideal para salidas costeras.
Está equipada con un motor Mariner de 50 CV, capaz de alcanzar una velocidad máxima de 21 nudos.
Contamos con seguro de responsabilidad civil y de accidentes, cumpliendo con toda la normativa vigente.
En cuanto a seguridad y rescate, el barco dispone de:
- Estación de radio VHF fija
- Radio portátil VHF
- Teléfono satelital Inmarsart
- Cohetes de señalización
- Bengalas de mano
- Chalecos salvavidas
